In the spotlight today is Pumpkin Sandalwood. This is hands down my favorite seasonal soap. Not only does it have a wonderful, pumpkin, cinnamon, and sandalwood scent, it also includes organic pumpkin puree and Tussah silk fibers. The lather for this soap is so dense, thick, and moisture rich, I don’t have to use lotion after I shower with it.
This year, we chose to add Tussah silk fibers to create a silky, intense lather. We also added organic pumpkin powder to create a bit of exfoliating texture. I view this bar as one of our most luxurious. The organic pumpkin puree adds a warm, rich pumpkin color and a mild pumpkin scent. When blended with a bit of cinnamon and sandalwood essential oil, it creates a beautifully well-rounded scent.
