Welcome to Wednesday, dear reader. Our upcoming farmer's market here on our farm has me thinking about you, my soap family. I heard a comment that resonated with me. The comment was, "Every purchase is a relationship." This small sentence holds so much truth and meaning. Some of you might know, if you are a regular reader, that this year has been particularly difficult for me. I'm feeling a bit lost, uninspired, and like I am spinning my wheels and not gaining traction in quite a few aspects of my life. I feel selfish and ungrateful for even writing this, but I want to be transparent with you. 

As The Heavy-B and I walked this morning, I said my daily prayers, looked around at the beauty of the sunflower and corn fields, and began to reflect on this journey as a whole. It all began so simply. When I first started tinkering with soap-making in my kitchen, I had a simple goal: to create a wholesome, gentle, and deeply nourishing bar of soap for my own family. Like many small makers, I quickly fell in love with the process. Today, running this small business is so much more than just measuring oils and cutting bars—it is a deeply rewarding connection with every single person who uses my products.

You all trust me. That, dear reader, is a big deal. You invite me into your home, to care for your most intimate needs, to care for your loved ones, to add a touch of luxury, wholesomeness, nourishment, and peace of mind. With that in mind, every bar I create, every new product I develop, is for you and your needs. I try to create beautiful bars with intention in every one. There is genuine care, compassion, and love in each bar of soap, jar of moisturizer, and facial or body product we sell. 

In a world filled with mass-produced, factory-made goods, a small handmade business is entirely different. When you make a purchase from a small business, it's not just a transaction—it is the start of a relationship.
Here is what every purchase really means to me:

This business thrives not on numbers, but on the trust and relationships we build together. So, thank you for being a part of this journey. Thank you for valuing handmade quality and allowing me to share a little piece of my passion with you. Thank you for showing up and supporting each of our new endeavors, whether it is a farmers' market on our farm, a sunflower field, a corn maze, reading a daily blog, or our online store; you all show up and show the love. Thank you for trusting me.
