Fall At The Farm 2025

Fall At The Farm 2025

It's that time of year again, dear reader. On Saturday, October 18th, from 10 until 2, we will open our farm and welcome you to visit our goats from a distance, shop with our favorite vendor friends, and catch up on all things goats, soaps, and soap family. Fall At The Farm is by far my favorite event of the year. I love autumn. Fall At The Farm always falls on my birthday weekend, and I get to hang out with some of my favorite people. It's a win-win the whole way around.

This year, we have expanded our line-up to include some new favorites and fresh faces, as well as our beloved anchor businesses and friends. I strongly encourage you to come out, see the farm, say hello, meet some of my favorite people, fill your tummy with good food, and support local small businesses. You won't be disappointed. This year, our list of vendors is as follows:

Food:

Kenna's Corner (gourmet coffee, energy drinks, seasonal treats, and the best acai bowls I have ever eaten! This hard-working, creative young lady is going places.)

Lone Oak Farms (Seriously, the best pepperoni rolls and cinnamon rolls ever. Plus a variety of baked goods and gourmet products. Stay out of The Bean's way when Lone Oak pulls in! My kid can eat her weight in cinnamon and pepperoni rolls.)

Out of the Fire (hot foods, take-away soups, kimchi, pickles, and sweets by Christina Elizabeth)

Artisans:

Ageless Iron (Custom iron work and signs. Such talent and professionalism)

Amanda Jo's Flower Cart (Create your own bouquets-I am so excited to welcome this up-and-coming businesswoman)

Ashleigh Bowman Art (Ashleigh creates all of our beautiful stickers that are included in our online orders. She's amazingly talented.)

Beyond Organic Poultry (Seriously, the best chicken I've eaten)

Broken Locust (Herbal teas, spice blends, and dip mixes-a staple in my kitchen)

Buds to Blooms (CBD and Delta 8 products-I swear by the Delta 8 gummies for pain and inflammation)

Color To Dye For (The Braughler sisters will wow us with their beautiful jewelry and whimsical creations)

Eden Apiaries (Local Honey and Honey Products)

Grizzled Teddy (Donovan and Felicia create grooming products for men with an inspiring message. I love this couple.)

Lightshine Jewelry (Jenn's creations are awe-inspiring and of such excellent quality. Her jewelry is a constant in my wardrobe)

Lydic's Enterprises LLC (Melanie and her crew are the sweetest, hardest-working, most organized family I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. See them for all your fall pumpkins, gourds, and apple cider).

Missy LaLa's Biscotti (I am so excited for Missy and her amazing biscotti to join us! Insert clapping, dancing, and giggling. Her biscotti is my daily reward for acting like an adult, or not strangling The Bibbed Wonder, or getting out of bed...whichever applies.)

Mrs. Nut Roll (My dear friends Sharon and Chris will be here with the most amazing nut rolls, apricot rolls, and poppy seed rolls. I don't know how they do it, but these get better after being frozen-seriously!)

Pamela Jean Werner (Pam's scarves, shawls, and throws are just more beautiful with every season. She is a serious talent.)

Pisarck's Flower Farm (My beautiful friend Suzy will be here with her dried flower creations. Suzy's wreaths are true works of art.)

PrAiry Girl (My dear friend, Carlene will be here with her Alpaca yarn, socks, felting, sheep skins, and roving. Carlene's socks are the best.)

Rooted In The Forest (The talented Katie Molengo will be here with her candle creations and artwork inspired by nature.)

Star Crossed Naturals (Michael grows the sweetest cherry tomatoes! I'm sure tomato season is over, but he will have micro greens, organic produce, and organic baked goods.)

Vnlla Cncpts (All Things Handmade Vanilla)

Of course, we will be here as well. We will premiere several of our holiday soaps and moisturizers, along with our seasonal fall favorites and classic year-round products. We will be offering specials, bundles, and gift ideas for your shopping pleasure. I don't mean to make you panic, but I panicked when I read that there are only twelve Sundays until Christmas! What?! My head is exploding! It may be a good time to begin your holiday shopping. GramBarb, the OGB, has already started to buy Christmas gifts. She makes me feel so disorganized and unprepared...sigh.

Please check out Stoke Hole Pottery and the entire Pottery Tour of Indiana County while you are out and about. Stoke Hole Pottery is just up the road from us, with their flagship studio, or check out their downtown Indiana studio. Just down the road a bit from our farm is Aunt Julia's Bakery. My sweet friend doesn't have time to do live shows now that she has a brick-and-mortar bakery, but she isn't far from us and has a fantastic array of donuts, hand pies, baked goods, and high-quality food items in her store. There are several delightful boutiques on Philadelphia Street in Indiana: Kattywampus, the new toy store; The Paper Garden; Ace Hardware (seriously, my favorite store); Create and Curate; and Sit and Stay Cafe. Come out, enjoy the beautiful weather, check out all things Indiana, support small and local businesses, and have a great time. As my bib overall-wearing wonder buns likes to say, "You won't find better company. If you miss it, it's your mistake to make, but you'll be sorry."

On this chilly October day, stay safe, be smart, and come see us on October 18th from 10 to 2 at 493 Tonkin Road, Indiana, PA 15701. Oh, and keep washing your hands.
