Foodie Friday: Christmas Punch

Foodie Friday: Christmas Punch

Several years ago, The Bean became obsessed with "fancy drinks." We went through a phase where we made non-alcoholic "fancy drinks" like mock pina coladas and daiquiris. We would use my best stemware, add garnishes, and sip fancy drinks. It was fun, and I enjoyed indulging her. That year, I also made Christmas Punch for our Christmas Eve dinner. Although this punch is recommended for Christmas morning, I made it and served it during our holiday meal to add another layer of specialness for one special kid.

It could not be any easier. You simply combine orange juice, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and ginger ale in a pitcher. Allow the juices to sit overnight if you'd like, but add the ginger ale before serving so it doesn't get flat. The Bean thought it was the best, and I continue to make this for her every Christmas Eve.

Christmas Punch

Ingredients:

-2 cups orange juice ( I like Simply Orange Juice)

-2 cups cranberry juice

-1 cup pineapple juice

-1 cup ginger ale

Directions:

Chill all ingredients prior to making. Combine ingredients in a glass pitcher. Serve cold.

On this cold December Friday, stay safe, be smart, enjoy simple things that make the ones you love feel special, and keep washing your hands.
