Happy Labor Day, dear reader. It is hard to believe that the end of summer is here. However, all the pinnacle markers of the changing season are occurring. The days are becoming shorter; the Canada geese are flying over, and the crickets are chirping in the evenings. There is also a change in the scent of the air. Fall is my favorite season. I look forward to everything pumpkin, festivals, and of course, Halloween. With the changing season, we look forward to our new fall line-up of products.
We brought back the fan favorites and added a few new scents to keep things fresh and exciting this year. Our first fall soap to be released per request of our soap family is our new Honeyed Apple and Oats. I must admit, both The Bibbed Wonder and I were surprised by this polled choice. We were set to release Pumpkin Sandalwood as our first fall scent, but the people spoke, and we listened. We scrambled to produce the coordinating moisturizer yesterday. I hope this new combination does not disappoint.
Honeyed Apple and Oats has a fresh, soft, fruity scent with the beneficial additions of honey and colloidal oatmeal. If you are a fruity fan, this is the soap for you. My fellow pumpkin lovers, don’t despair. We will release our well-loved Pumpkin Sandalwood soap and moisturizer soon. There will also be a new seasonal surprise in our skincare line-up. Also making an appearance for fall will be Sweater Weather, Cozy, and Spiced Cranberry. I love our fall scents almost as much as I love the fall season.
Never being one to rush a good thing, take the time to enjoy the remnants of summer. Relish the warm weather, swim in the pool before it closes for the season, enjoy the picnic, and wear that white outfit. We will be into fall festivals, pumpkin patches, comfort food, and tall boots with sweaters and scarves before we know it. Enjoy each day as it comes, dear reader. I wish you all a safe, fun-filled, relaxing Labor Day weekend. If you are in the area, I recommend The Ligonier Country Market on Saturday from 8-12. We only have four more markets, including this weekend. It too comes to an end with the change of the season.
As always, dear reader, stay safe, be smart, enjoy the weekend, and keep washing your hands.
