Little Reasons To Smile

It feels like we just completed our Christmas festivities, but alas, the next holiday is within sight. Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away. We have released our Valentine’s Day soaps and moisturizers on the website for your shopping convenience. I don’t know about you, but when the weather is cold, blustery, and snowy, I look forward to something new, interesting, and fresh to take my mind off the grey, never-ending days.

My goal for the Valentine’s Day products was to create something cheerful and pretty, with a bright, happy scent. I believe we accomplished that with our two new soaps. First Kiss is a returning scent that came back because of popular demand. I don’t like to do “knock-off” scents, but this one is very close to Victoria’s Secret’s Love Spell. It is a bright, fruity scent that is sure to brighten one’s Day.

My new Valentine’s Day creation is called Be Mine, and it smells lovely. It is a more complex blend of black currant oil and tuberose. Don’t allow the use of tuberose to turn you off for those of you who don’t like the rose; this scent is wonderfully fruity, a bit green, a bit sweet, and a tiny bit floral. I am always amazed how scents change when paired with unlikely partners. It’s kind of like The Bibbed Wonder and me. One would probably not consider us a likely pair, but we work together well and enhance each other. He’s the yin to my yang, the peanut butter to my jelly, the bacon to my eggs.

I hope you enjoy the new products as much as I enjoyed creating them. It is always fun to create something new. As we move through the grey days of winter, add a little pick-me-up to your daily routine with the addition of fresh soap and moisturizer. Two new seasonal soaps will be added to our repertoire every month until the big shebang of the Christmas season. Now, that is something to smile about…insert wink. As always, dear reader, stay safe, be smart, look for little reasons to smile, and keep washing your hands.
