Please Join Us For Fall At The Farm

Well, dear reader, this is my third attempt at writing this blog today…sigh. This will be my last blog about our Fall At The Farm event because it is happening on Saturday! Go ahead, squeal, clap, do a funny dance; I won’t judge. We hope you can join us at 493 Tonkin Road, Indiana, PA, from 9-1. We have been working all week to prepare for our event. Our entire line of holiday seasonals is ready for your sniffing pleasure. We worked all day yesterday preparing fresh moisturizers in all your favorite scents, and the soaps are cured, boxed, labeled, and ready for you to enjoy.

My new favorite holiday scents are Merry Berry and Nice. However, Comfort & Joy will be my forever all-time favorite seasonal. I love the soft, almost powdery scent of Comfort & Joy. Along with Merry Berry, Nice, and Comfort & Joy, we will be introducing Naughty, Cashmere Sweater, Maximus, The Mean One, and of course, Elf Fart. Our seasonal products will be introduced here, exclusively at our farm event. If you want to be the first to procure Maximus, Naughty, Nice, or any of our other holiday exclusives, come out to the farm and enjoy the day.

We will be including a few new exciting additions to our fall event this year. The Bean is setting up rustic, lovely, farm-themed, fall-inspired selfie stations. She is utilizing my dad’s antique tractor and our little John Deer wagon to set up photo backdrops for your selfie-taking pleasure. The Bean is also hosting a children’s activity and story time. The activity is kid-friendly, not too messy, and easy to take home. She has quite an extensive storybook library and has chosen her fall favorites to read aloud. I can’t tell you how proud my child makes me.

Also new to our event is the introduction of live music. Emily Foster will share her talent and make the atmosphere more festive. My hope is that Emily has an opportunity to showcase her talent and perhaps score some new gigs for future events. Music makes everything better. We look forward to welcoming Emily.

Let’s talk food. Hot Ash Wood Fired Pizza will join us, and I am so excited. I can’t wait to sample their menu. Everyone loves pizza, but they also offer subs and side dishes. Check them out on Facebook to explore their menu options and, maybe, water at the mouth just a bit.

Aunt Julia’s Donuts will be here with fresh apple fritters, and wait for it, The Eric Special. Eric has a lot of ideas, especially surrounding food. He asked Julia to make him a PB&J donut. A raspberry jelly-filled donut with peanut butter icing. Julia, being the kind soul she is, never tells him no. Eric has declared it THE Eric Special and claims it is the best creation in the donut world ever…sigh. Come out and taste it for yourself. You will make one funny little bald man’s day if you tell him you love his donut. Julia will be serving warm donuts and fresh hot coffee for your enjoyment.

Broken Locust will be serving hot, locally grown, and hand-blended herbal teas. Sherry’s teas are the absolute best. The peppermint tea is wonderful if you have an upset stomach. Her Give It a Chai is deliciously spicy, and her Chamomile is soothing and cozy. You can stock up on all her delicious teas for the upcoming winter.

The final list of our vendor friends is as follows:

-Aunt Julia’s Donuts

Like a little kid, I can’t wait to come smell the new scents, listen to the music and explore the vendor booths! Sorry little bald man, but I am weird and do not like PB&J together 🤷‍♀️.
