This week’s Tuesday Spot Light is a very personal choice, I have given myself a thirty-day challenge to improve and change my behaviors in lack of commitment to skincare. My lackadaisical approach to skin care is weighing on me with the looming bench mark of the big five-O fast approaching. So, with that dear reader, enjoy the Tuesday Spot Light.
I am going to begin with the Rose Clay Facial Bar. The Rose Clay Facial Bar was created with maturing skin in mind. The ingredients used were chosen for their beneficial properties for the skin, not for scent. Although the Rose Clay Facial Bar smells like roses because of the rose geranium oil used, the scent quickly dissipates and the skin is left feeling smooth, clean, and soft. Rose geranium oil is wonderful for the delicate skin of the face. It is naturally brightening, is packed with antioxidant properties, and is also anti-inflammatory. Frankincense oil is also wonderful for all things skin related. Frankincense has astringent properties and it is wonderful when used to help reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and skin discoloration. As if those two ingredients weren’t enough, French rose clay and kaolin clay have been added for gentle exfoliation, drawing out toxins and deeply imbedded impurities. Add fresh raw goat’s milk for its vitamins and nutrients, along with vitamin E and this bar is a small puck of skin care goodness.
Moving on to the Activated Charcoal bar because not all have mature skin. The Activated Charcoal bar was created for those with more troublesome skin. Tea Tree oil is used for its astringent, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial properties. Activated charcoal was chosen because it helps to gently resurface skin, even skin tone, pull environmental toxins to the surface, and fight bacteria which can cause acne. Add goat’s milk with its high lactic acid properties, which help with exfoliation and it too is a skin care powerhouse.
When used in conjunction with the Rose Clay Mask or the Charcoal Scrub and the Facial moisturizer, one has an all-natural skin care routine. Both the Rose Clay Bar and the Activated Charcoal Bar are the special for the week. Both bars are half off on the site and will also be offered at discount at both the Murrysville and Ligonier Markets.
I hope you join me for my thirty-day skin care challenge…beginning tonight. I will use and document the changes good skin care practices can have on one’s overall skin health and appearance. Brace yourself, I too am bracing myself, to appear in a very public forum with no make-up, funny hair, and more than likely my sock monkey pajamas. It doesn’t get any more real than that folks.
As always dear reader, stay safe, stay smart, tune in to our YouTube channel for an educational and more than likely embarrassing segment on skin care, and of course wash your hands.
The Murrysville market is at the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company field (3235 Sardis Road) from 3-7
Can you tell me where the Murrysville market is?
