Today, our Tuesday Spotlight shines upon Peppermint Soap and Moisturizer. Peppermint is a staple of our permanent inventory. Not only is it a bright, refreshing, uplifting scent, but it also has many benefits for one’s skin. I am particularly fond of Peppermint in the summer months. Peppermint oil creates a cool tingly sensation on the skin that is refreshing on a hot day. It also is believed to have anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties that combat odor and bacteria.
When The Bean and I do at-home pedicures, we soak our feet in warm water laced with a few drops of peppermint oil. We also wash our feet with Peppermint Soap and finish with a massage of Peppermint Moisturizer. It feels amazing on tired feet and legs. Although I miss my salon pedicures, I think this is the next best thing, and it will suffice until we feel a little safer.
