Tuesday Spotlight: Patchouli

Our Tuesday Spotlight shines on our "cult classic" patchouli. I jokingly call it a cult classic because patchouli definitely has a following. Young and old alike enjoy the unique scent of patchouli. I must be honest; patchouli took some time to grow on me. Initially, I despised the earthy, "dirt-like" scent. However, as the years have progressed, I have a solid appreciation for the smell and respect for the benefits that patchouli oil offers one's skin.

Patchouli is one of the strongest, most long-lasting oils I have in my scent arsenal. I spilled patchouli oil on a sweatshirt years ago, literally years ago. To this day, that sweatshirt scents my entire closet. I have come to enjoy the scent of patchouli oil when my bib overall wearing wonder buns uses the soap and moisturizer on his handsome, little bald head. Patchouli smells earthy, clean, and comfortable. All qualities I appreciate in my husband.

Patchouli essential oil is hailed for its use in skin cell regeneration. Patchouli has anti-aging and anti-bacterial properties; it is believed to facilitate wound healing and reduce wrinkles, scars, blemishes, and other signs of aging. It is a powerhouse of goodness for one's skin. If you enjoy earthy, warm, rich scents, patchouli is the scent for you.

As always, the Tuesday Spotlight is half off on the website. It is a wonderful opportunity to try something new that one may be unsure of, or it is an excellent time to stock up on a familiar favorite. On this cold, snowy January day, stay safe, be smart, enjoy the savings, and keep washing your hands.
