Tuesday Spotlight: Peppermint, A Natural Bug Repellent

Happy Tuesday, dear reader. Our Tuesday Spotlight is shining on our Peppermint soap and moisturizer. Peppermint is the perfect summer soap and moisturizer with its cool, minty tingle and invigorating fresh scent. Peppermint oil is believed to be a natural bug repellent. From one who gets eaten alive by bugs as soon as I step outside, I can say it does help. At Stutzman’s Blueberry Farm on the Fourth of July, I was swarmed with biting flies. I sprayed peppermint hand sanitizer all over myself, and it did help. Also, the cool, minty tingle felt cool and soothing on such a hot, humid day.

I suggest using Peppermint soap and moisturizer if you are going to be outdoors, in the woods, or even in the yard. It might not work as well as DEET, but it’s natural and won’t harm you. It also feels amazing on a hot summer day; a bonus is that it smells great and leaves no sticky residue.

As always, our Tuesday Spotlight is on special exclusively on the website. No promo code is needed, and savings will be applied at checkout. On this beautiful summer day, stay safe, be smart, use natural bug repellents, enjoy the savings, and keep washing your hands.
