We're Back

We’re back! It has been a long week, dear reader. A massive storm blew through Southwestern Pennsylvania earlier in the week. This storm knocked down trees, created flash floods, and made a real mess of everything, including taking out our internet service. I am happy to report we are back online and ready for business. We have a lot of catching up to do, so let me begin.

First, our Tuesday Spotlight, which is now Thursday’s highlight, is Lavender with Oatmeal. If you have had a week as we have, you may require something calm, soothing, and relaxing. Lavender is one of my all-time favorites scents, and when blended with oatmeal and goat’s milk, it is truly divine. As the season changes, a good exfoliation is excellent for sun-tired summer skin. Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells and renew your skin for the upcoming cooler weather.

On a side note, my eczema is beginning to flare. This is how I know the seasons are indeed changing. I get eczema in the most unusual places, and all of them are noticeable. Sometimes, it’s my eyelids, ears, and lips, but this year it is my scalp. I have been using our Lavender Rosemary shampoo bar, and I am pleased to say it is helping to alleviate my itching and dry skin. I am a big believer in the benefits of lavender essential oil.

Secondly, we have released our gorgeous Moonlight Sonata soap and moisturizer. This beautiful and luxurious bar has the replicated scent of the perfume given to the A-list women on the Titanic. It is a romantic, nostalgic fragrance with a floral blend of lavender, lily of the valley, hyacinth, orange blossom, gardenia, and magnolia. I am not usually a fan of florals, but I adore this blend. Moonlight Sonata is available for a limited time, and our stock is limited.

Last but not least, we will be having a Labor Day sale beginning Friday. All our seasonal summer scents will be on sale to make room for our Fall line-up. It will be an excellent opportunity to stock up on seasonal favorites, purchase gifts, and enjoy what remains of summer.

It is good to be back, dear reader. We have much more catching up to do, and I look forward to coffee with you tomorrow. As always, stay safe, be smart, and keep washing your hands.
