Baby season has officially begun here at the farm. We came home from Pittsburgh just in time for Tiny Dot to deliver her baby. Tiny Dot is not the one we expected to deliver first. She is a mom to a single for a second time, and we could not be more proud of her. She had a beautiful little spotted girl who is doing great.
This morning, Eric returned from doing barn chores and announced that Brown-Brown had delivered identical twin girls. Mama is doing well, and so are the twins. Jordan has decided everyone will have a Christmas-themed name this month. I hope she chooses Jingle and Jangle for the twins and Noel for the tiny spotted girl. However, most of the time, I don’t get a vote.
The weather is warm, the girls are doing great, and we could not be happier. I am going to keep it short today, dear reader. I returned home from Pittsburgh with a stomach bug. It has been a night filled with unpleasantries. I will spare you the details. I hope, dear reader, your week began a great as ours…minus the stomach bug.
Stay safe, be smart, and wash your hands frequently and well for the love of all that’s holy. The world is full of unpleasant germs!
