Save the Date

In the past, we have welcomed our soap family to our farm for small events. Since Covid has begun, we have erred on the side of caution and refrained from any in-person interaction. Well, dear reader, I am happy to say that we are opening our farm to our soap family and hosting a small event we call Fall at the Farm. We have solidified a date, October 16th, and we are working out the details as I sit and write to you.

Everything will be held outside this year, and we are keeping our soaping studio closed to the public. We will also refrain from doing barn tours to keep our ladies and Eric’s prized porcine princesses safe and healthy. However, you will be able to view the ladies from outside the fence and probably catch a glimpse of our Large Black Hogs and Hereford pigs. I know it’s not up close and personal, but we feel it’s necessary to keep our herd healthy.

We are continuing to work on our vendor list, but we already have a few confirmations. I am excited to announce that Aunt Julia’s Donuts will be here! Not only do Julia and her lovely crew make the most amazing donuts, but they are good friends. I am looking forward to welcoming them to our farm. Her donuts alone are worth the trip to the farm.

I will keep you updated on our plans as they solidify and vendors who will be in attendance. I can promise there will be great people, fantastic food, and lovely wares. Save the date and stay posted. As always, dear reader, stay safe, be smart, save the date, and keep washing your hands.
