Two More Days!

Updated: Apr 29, 2022

Happy Thursday, dear reader. There are only two more days until our event here at the farm. We are preparing for the day and can’t wait to see our friends and soap family. Along with us, seventeen of my vendor friends will be joining us. Just a recap of who will be here Kettle Daddy BBQ, Simply The Best Kettle Corn, Mrs. Nut Roll, Loan Oak Farms, and I am happy to announce Groundhog Grindz will be joining us selling coffee, frappes, and baked goods. Sadly, Aunt Julia’s Donuts had to cancel. We understand unforeseen situations come up, and we hope for better days for our lovely friend.

Our artisan friends who are joining us are Ageless Iron, Broken Locust, Canine Confections, Cheeky Cat Gifts, Color to Dye For, Jaw Wood Burning, Lydic’s Farms, My Daily Choice, Pamela Jean Warner Creations, PrAiry Girl, Rustic Smoke Candles, April Stadmiller, and Franny Stadmiller. I am so excited to see these talented people and their wares.

We will have baby goat’s aplenty, hopefully bouncing about in the fields. We have decided against barn tours in order to keep our mamas and babies safe and healthy. We mean no offense to anyone, but our girls are the staple of our farm and business. Without them, we have nothing. Their safety and well-being are of the utmost importance. We have to protect what we love. However, hopefully, the mamas will have them out in the field enjoying the sunshine with the warm temperatures, and you can observe them getting their bounce on, as my bean says.

Thus far, the forecast looks promising. We are hoping to have a day of friendship, support, good food, quality products, and community. In these unsettling times, now more than ever, it is essential to surround yourself with those you love, trust and value. I can honestly say each of the people joining us is part of my circle, aside from a few new additions, and I appreciate them and what they bring to my life. I hope they enrich your life as well. Supporting these wonderful people and giving you the opportunity to meet them and appreciate their talents is the least I can do.

We hope you join us to help support this incredible group of people. I hope you come with an appetite because there will be a great selection of delicious food. This close to Mother’s Day, perhaps you can find some lovely gifts for those you love or a special treat for yourself. I know I already have a few ideas in mind for those I respect and cherish for all the good they bring into the world. I also have a few ideas of pretty things I’d like for myself. After all, The Bibbed Wonder is renowned for terrible gifts. It makes his life easier if I pick out my own gifts, right? Insert wink.

As always, dear reader, stay safe, be smart; we hope to see you on Saturday and keep washing your hands.
