The countdown has begun for our Springtime at the Farm event. We are a mere three days away from our favorite event of the year. I enjoy the springtime event the most because it has been so many months since we’ve seen or interacted with anyone in person. After a long winter, seeing so many friendly, familiar faces and, hopefully, some new ones is wonderful. I’m also excited to see all my small business, artisan, and vendor friends. Overall, it’s just a pleasant day spent with wonderful people.
This year, we are welcoming two new food vendors to the farm. Northburgh Coffee Company will be joining us, and I do love coffee. Danyale Dinger, owner, and operator of Northburgh Coffee Company, has a fantastic menu filled with hot and cold brews. This talented entrepreneur puts in the time and effort to create a unique and delicious product, and her hard work pays off. I asked Danyale a few questions so we could all get to know her better and learn a little bit about her unique little company.
Everyone has an original start-up story, and Danyale is no different. In the midst of a busy life, selling a home, purchasing her dream home, and working full-time, Danyale and her fiancé, Josh, were inspired to purchase a trailer, revamp it, and make it into what is now Northburgh Coffee Company. They began the coffee training process in the spring of 2021 and began serving the public in the fall of 2022. It was a process, but the timing was impeccable, and Danyale says, “I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
Like many entrepreneurs, Danyale loves making people happy. When asked what she finds most rewarding about her business, she says, “I love helping customers decide which drink they’d like and seeing how happy they are when taking that first sip.” Thus far, the most popular drinks on her menu are the Cookie Batter Latte, Chocolate Covered Strawbery Mocha, and Drip Coffee is always a crowd favorite. Danyale is finalizing her menu for our event. I will be sure to share it with you on social media when she has decided.
Northburgh Coffee Company has a busy summer schedule. Danyale will be at all the Smicksburg events, has several weddings booked, and has a variety of vendor shows planned. We are thrilled she was able to fit us into her busy schedule.
You can follow Northburgh Coffee Company on Facebook and Instagram to keep up-to-date on appearances and festivals. If you are a coffee lover, we hope you come to see us at our Springtime at the Farm event this Saturday from 9-1. As one bib overall-wearing buddy likes to say, “You won’t find better company!”
I am excited to welcome Danyale Dinger and her Northburgh Coffee Company to our farm event. I am passionate about supporting small, local, and especially woman-owned businesses. Everyone has a dream, and my small business community has been an integral part of helping me make my small business dream come true. We couldn’t do what we do without the support, advice, insight, and opportunities this amazing little community helps to create. I am proud to be part of such a fantastic group and will always support the new business owners coming onto the scene.
I hope you all come out to the farm on Saturday to enjoy the sights, support our local small business community, support handmade, and show some love to those who create with love. On this cold and snowy May day, stay safe, be smart, come out to the farm, enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee, support new local businesses and those who have been around for a bit, and wash those hands.
The weather is supposed to be nice this Saturday!!!
