Upcoming Events

As we end our season at the Ligonier Country Market, I am looking ahead to the remainder of our year for live shows. Many of you know I face live shows with a mixture of trepidation and excitement. There is a part of me that loves live events, talking to people in person, meeting new soap family members, and putting names to faces with our online community. There is also part of me that stresses about in-person shows, feeling overwhelmed, saying the wrong thing, and not being on my A-game. It can be a lot for an overthinking, introvert. Despite my trepidation, we have signed up for a series of in-person events that will carry us through until early December.

Some of our events are The Bean's idea. Some are favorite annual events put on by dear friends, and some are new experiences in new areas. If nothing else, it will be an adventure and an opportunity to meet new people. If you were at the Ligonier Country Market last week, you met Megan (aka Great Hair Megan...seriously, that is how she is labeled in my phone). Miss Megan will be taking over a few live shows for us when we need coverage. She will expand our live show attendance and, hopefully, enjoy herself while she does so. I think Megan is going to be a real asset to our soap family.

Our list of in-person events is as follows:

September 27th: the last Ligonier Country Market of the season (Trick or Treat for attending children) 8:00 to Noon

October 4th: The Indiana County Conservation District's Apple Festival, 435 Hamill Road, Indiana, PA. 11:30 until 4:00

October 18th: Fall at the Farm Event, 493 Tonkin Road, Indiana, PA 15701, 10:00 until 2:00

October 25th: The Ligonier Halloween Festival, North Fairfield Street, Ligonier, PA., 1:00 until 5:00

(Tentative Attendance) November 1st: Ligonier Country Market Holiday Market, Ligonier Watershed Park, Ligonier, PA., Noon until 4:00

December 6th:

Lone Oak Farm, Merry Local Christmas, 1606 Georgeville Road, Marion Center, PA., 10:00 until 2:00

Monroeville Public Library, Winter Market, 4000 Gateway Blvd. Monroeville, PA., 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Ligonier Winter Market, Ligoner Valley Senior High, 40 Springer Road, Ligonier, PA., 11:00 until 3:00

That, dear reader, is our list of remaining in-person shows for the year. On December 6th, we will be dividing and conquering to meet our obligations. I hope to see you at some of our events. We look forward to seeing you. Please say hello and introduce yourself. We love to be able to put faces to names we see online. As always, we appreciate you and all you do for us. You all are seriously the best, and we could not do this without you.
